About Everythingle
Everythingle is a small home for daily puzzle games. Each game has one new puzzle every day at midnight, the same for every player, so you can compare scores with friends without spoiling the answers. The games are free, there are no accounts, and your progress stays in your own browser. Ads pay for the site.
The games
- Polyglotle: guess an English word from its translations. You start with the language least like English and move closer with every clue, while a globe colours in where each language is spoken. Five words a day.
- Strategle: five blackjack hands a day. Pick Hit, Stand, Double or Split the way basic strategy says, and see why after each pick. There's also unlimited practice and the full strategy chart.
- Mythle: five science statements a day. Is it science or fiction? Every answer comes with an explanation and a link to its source.
How the puzzles are made
Each puzzle is written and checked before it goes live, and every game shows where its answers come from.
- Polyglotle's translations come from Wiktionary and are reviewed by hand, one word at a time.
- Strategle's answers follow the standard basic strategy chart for its table rules, as published by the Wizard of Odds, and our own odds calculator re-checks every one. Hands whose answer changes with house rules are never used.
- Mythle's statements each have a reliable source, such as NASA, the NHS or Wikipedia's lists of common misconceptions, and each is checked against the text of that source. Half-true claims are left out.
Mistakes still slip through. Every game has a link to tell us, and we fix what turns out to be wrong.
Who makes it
Everythingle is made and run by Codrin Gruia.
Not gambling
Strategle is a puzzle about blackjack strategy, not a casino game. There is no money, betting or prizes anywhere on Everythingle, and we never link to casinos or betting sites.
