Privacy policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
Everythingle and its games (Polyglotle, Strategle and Mythle) are free daily games run by Codrin Gruia (contact: hello@everythingle.io). This page explains what data is involved when you play and what choices you have.
What stays on your device
Your game progress, results, streaks and settings are saved in your browser's local storage so you can carry on where you left off. The home page reads them only to show which of today's games you've played. They never leave your device and we can't see them. Clearing your browser data deletes them. There are no accounts.
Advertising
Everythingle is paid for by ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to show ads and to measure them, and, if you agree, to personalise ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
- Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's consent message before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time from the "Privacy and cookie settings" link the message adds to the page.
- How Google uses this data: How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- You can turn off personalised ads at Google's ad settings, and opt out of many third-party ad companies at youronlinechoices.eu.
Fonts, libraries and hosting
Fonts load from Google Fonts, and Polyglotle's map and its code from jsDelivr. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web server, these services receive your IP address and browser details when your browser asks them for a file, and may keep them briefly in logs for security and reliability. We don't receive or store these logs ourselves.
Visit statistics
We may count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't track you across sites.
Feedback messages
If you send us a message from the feedback page, we store what you write, which game and puzzle it's about, the page you came from, the time, and your email if you choose to leave one. We use them only to fix mistakes, improve the games and, if you asked, reply to you. Only Codrin Gruia reads them.
To stop the form being flooded, we also keep a code made from your IP address and the date; it changes every day and can't be turned back into your address. Messages are stored with Cloudflare, our host, and deleted after 12 months, or sooner if you ask.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@everythingle.io. For data held by Google, use your Google account or the links above. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Romania that's ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
Children
Everythingle is a general-audience site and isn't aimed at children under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
