Privacy policy

Mythle is a free daily game run by Codrin Gruia (contact: hello@everythingle.io). This page explains what data is involved when you play and what choices you have.

What stays on your device

Your game progress, results, streak and settings are saved in your browser's local storage so you can carry on where you left off. They never leave your device and we can't see them. Clearing your browser data deletes them. There are no accounts.

Links to sources (Wikipedia, NASA, the NHS and others) open those sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Advertising

Mythle is paid for by ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to show ads and to measure them, and, if you agree, to personalise ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

• Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's consent message before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time from the "Privacy and cookie settings" link the message adds to the page.

• You can turn off personalised ads at Google's ad settings, and opt out of many third-party ad companies at youronlinechoices.eu.

Fonts and hosting

Fonts load from Google Fonts. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web server, these services receive your IP address and browser details when your browser asks them for a file, and may keep them briefly in logs for security and reliability. We don't receive or store these logs ourselves.

Visit statistics

We may count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't track you across sites.

Feedback messages

If you send us a message from the feedback page, we keep what you write (and your email, if you leave one) for up to 12 months to fix mistakes and reply. The Everythingle privacy policy has the details.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@everythingle.io. For data held by Google, use your Google account or the links above. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Romania that's ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).

Children

Mythle is a general-audience game and isn't aimed at children under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
